Will Tata Sky DTH switch to new satellite?

we all know that beaming these number of channels is not possible at this moment but am suprised to c that in INDIA we have this much number of channels

I have doubt about Tata Sky, is it possible to add channels in future?because, they have very less transponders and no way to add new channels.:huh:

All dth operators have similar transponder capacity. Those who have less no. of transponders are using mpeg4, while TS and dish are using mpeg2. Both can virtually double their capacity by switching to mpeg4, but upgrading the STB is a big task.

yep there is a channel named RAJ NEWS its been telecasted by local cable wallah's only but not that good channel:redface:
