Will the Adsl broadband work ok if the distance from pole is 200 meters?

Will the Adsl broadband work ok if the distance from pole to my house is 200 meters?And also i have spliced the wire 3 times because i was running short of it, will it also affect my speed? The exchange is like 900 meters from my house.
i would really like to know some details.

200m should be fine for DSL. Depends on cable a lot but as the exchange is only 900m you should be fine.

Each splicing is a source of interference so you should be careful with how you coverup splices.

Also copper corrodes over time so the splices can get rusted and signal won't flow properly. I would ut some hotglue on it.
