Yes, it included SP2+ some updates & more imp was some so called enhancements to the kernel which some had reported improved performance.

well the best way to use windows xp sp3 would be to install a fresh slipstreamed version.

no dude, it's normal when u have a bsnl Home 500 plan, the connectivity is upto 2 mbps but the speed test sometimes goes upto 4mbps, same on bsnl speed test page aswell.
This is happening after i took bsnl iptv, it seems that they have increased the bandwidth pipeline to 4mbps for internet with a total of 6mbps for the whole connection - when asked why the explanation the bsnl/iol engineer gave me was 'we don't want your internet speeds to go down when u use iptv', but still when i download anything the max i can get is about 250 kBps which is only 2 Mbps connection
