No, to be honest, I did not. Most of my inbound email is redundant/junk etc - Did not want another app until I was sure the Mail App is as good as gone. Even before I could seriously pursue an alternate, the App has been fixed.

it could still be the new ram chips. but the possibility that the replacement chips would give me the exact same problem as the first units is very remote.
