Wireless range of 450bxi and 450tc1

I had an old 450bxi which was having problems so it was replaced. Now the new modem, 450tc1 is giving a very weak signal. So I am wondering if it is the modem which is not working properly or does it have a lesser range? Since the 450bxi worked with my laptop when I was surfing on the first floor and the 450bxi is situated on the second floor.

Appears Beetel450TCI is having
same menu pages etc of WA3002-G1. Compare.

Power output of both may be same and should not make a difference.

Hmmm.. ok thanks. And alsoSNR MarginDL: 37.5 UL: 24.8 Line AttenuationDL:9.0 UL: 9.8 Are these numbers fine or is there something wrong in them?
