Worst experience with VI online sim order

Here I am from Kolkata, on the 18th of September, I ordered a VI sim online and provided my office address of Saltlake Sec V. At that time I paid Rs.299 as a base plan they offered.

After a successful transaction I got Order No. to track my order.

The website shows that the appointment confirmed.

I hope they deliver on the 18th, however, the whole day has gone by, no one has called me for delivery, and no update provided.

On the 19th I tried 9 times to get a proper resolution, but the CC don't have sound knowledge regarding this issue.

I tried Twitter and mail but nothing positive happened.

At least I top-up the previous mail, that canceled my order and processed a refund.

Surprisingly, they replied within 2 hours canceled my order, and sent for a refund.

VI speed many places in Kolkata, but their way of work soon destroys the company.

Why don't just buy one from Vi Store Or from distributor in your area?

Even stationery stores give out new SIMs within a few minutes.

@Lolita_Magnum the point here is not where you can get the sim but what a company is failing to provide. I live in a tier 2 city applied for A Jio prepaid sim and the sim guy called in an hour and voila the sim was activated from the comfort of my home. Dont understand whats the big fuss about delivering it to home/

Jio sales guy may get a higher sales commission and incentive that's why they are proactive on the other hand Vi is already short on funds so their sales people have no or little incentive in delivering sim to your house.

True.Jio is providing higher commission to agents I ordered sim online and the guy called me 3 times to give me sim

I had ordered special number VI sim for 299. It got delivered next day as promised. (Maharashtra circle)

@SVK then I think it solely depends on people of the circle rather than company I think then. @rajat_

Can I port it later into jio/airtel
