Ive been successfully using Beetel 220BX1 using bridge mode on my PC. I had to add in the WRT54G to share the connection on the laptop.So I ran the wire from the modem to the router and then another wire from the router to the computer.On the router , I changed mode to pppoe and added the dialer login & password & I can surf (and im posting this from the pc) , however except firefox nothing else which requires internet connection works (chrome, ie, yahoo msgr, msn msgr) (strangely skype connected properly) , I do not have windows firewall running (or any other firewall for that matter), I have disabled the router firewal by dechecking Block Anonymous Internet Requests , Filter Multicast, Filter Internet NAT Redirection & Filter IDENT(Port 113).Now I can open up the ports for individual applications but I still would like to know how to completely disable the router firewall (if I have missed out on something) And i find it very strange that except firefox all other browsers were blocked automatically.Beetel ip 192.168.1.1Router ip 10.10.10.1pc ip 10.10.10.5Help will be greatly appreciated.
