Marvel head addresses 'X-Men '97' showrunner exit
The head of animation at Marvel Studios speaks with EW about the abrupt exit of 'X-Men '97' showrunner Beau DeMayo, saying he does not categorize the departure as a firing: "'We parted ways' is the best way I could say."

According to Jeff Sneider, Beau DeMayo was fired, in part, due to being "Difficult to work with". John Rocha has heard less than savory things about him as well. Sneider will share more info in his newsletter tonight.

So it looks like he got fired because he was abusive to other writers, racist, misogynistic, and extremely difficult to work with.
