This seems like corona virus for smartphone companies. Everyone's catching it.

I think it might be needed as old Processor may not able to perform with latest games. So Smartphone companies might be implementing such measures. Whether its ethical or not, we need to know.

I don't know which SoC was used with S22, but with that Xiaomi device, it was SD 8 gen1, which I think is a pretty powerful SoC. Even for 1+, it was caught with some high end SoC.
Honestly, this obsession with numbers and graphs needs to stop. But, not everyone will agree with me.

S22 also has SD 8 gen1 worldwide except for few countries and Europe region.
