Xolo launches Hive UI for Android, Windows could be next | The Indian Express

While Hive will initially be developed for Android, Xolo India business head Sunil Raina told indianexpress.com that the intent was to develop the UI for Windows Phone as well. “Our intent is clear and we will have teams working towards this goal,” he said.
Hive will offer a high level of customisation as well as open a new avenue for customers to interact with the developers. So among the key components will be a module called Connect that lets user suggest features.

The 8X-1000, the first phone to feature Hive, will run on an octa-core processor yoked with 2GB RAM. It will have 16GB on board memory expandable up to 32GB, an 8MP Exmor R sensor rear camera and 2MP front camera. The 5-inch HD screen is protected by a Asahi Drangontrail glass, while the rear has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The 8X-1000 has been priced at Rs 13,999.

Xolo official is perhaps not aware that Microsoft does not allow OEM to modify Windows Phone UI
Apart from that what is problem if Xolo can launch their own UI if Xiaomi can.
