The executive also revealed that XOLO is working on Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones and Windows tablets.

"We are likely to launch the first XOLO Windows Phone by early next quarter, which will make us the first Indian smartphone maker to launch Windows Phone in India," Sehgal said.

On pricing of Windows devices, Sehgal said, "Pricing of these devices would be no different from the prices of XOLO Android smartphones and tablets. XOLO Windows Phone smartphones would be priced in the $150-$300 range."

"There is certainly an ecosystem cost attached to the Windows OS, which is higher. But it's an early stage scenario, as time goes by, we believe that it will also get neutralised," he further added.

So Micromax, XOLO and Karbonn are on MS radar for making Windows Phone.

They should all stop making Androids and leave the market for better companies.

But do they really "make" phones?
I guess their Chinese friends make it, or sometimes they just rename phones for Indian market. MS should be aware of this

Well... Microsoft has to certify all devices sold with Windows so they would find out soon enough.
