oh ok, i thought its launched... but current version looks much the same. Just cosmetic changes and they claim it to be faster, lets see how fast it wud be.

well they are specifically designing it for speed. current version is awfully slow.

Umm, its not awfully slow... its reasonably fast (on my 800Mhz machine). Just 1 or 2 slower than Gmail.

talking about the whole experience. don't like it.

how long it takes for the inbox to show new mails? automatically? (i am asking... not criticizing it).

i am testing it right now.

yahoo mail inbox is open.

sent a mail from gmail.

waiting for it to arrive in yahoo inbox.

had to manually refresh the inbox to get it. gmail would show it within seconds. in fact. sometimes even before i can switch the tab. i am spoiled.

Looks similar to Yahoo!'s current mail box, though with some kinda 'tuning'.

looks like a more integrated experience with big buttons which has become a necessasity with tablets becoming popular these days.

One of my friends recently got an email stating that they will migrate all users to new yahoo.the way it was written, i feel it wud mean that they are scrapping "yahoo mail classic".i wud be bit sad if they do that.

Yahoo seems to be taking the whole web 2.0 concept wrongly. Ever since they started revamping their interface, they keep throwing in more scripts and AJAXBTW, while opening the "new" yahoo mail, the flash plugin crashed on my chrome.
