They are expecting people to buy a 2+ year old devicw , just for the novelty factor? They could have pushed lollipop and there would be a few takers. But no, Yota 2/3 may get affected, and as now its stuck with retailers, they don't care...

IIRC Yota lauched Yota2 long back. Why is yota1 still on sale?

probably because they still have pending stock. this phone was never going to find many buyers. reviews from people who actually bought it are largely negative on flipkart.
