Using BSNL fiber, this issue only happens in OnePlus device and only when using the app, can't reproduce the same issue on any other phone or web browser, asked OnePlus customer service, they said it's the isp, asked the isp, they said it's the device, don't know what to do.
I use a 1+ device and everything runs fine on youtube. Maybe the issue is with your device or app to be specific. Have you tried restarting the phone or clearing data and cache from the app.
I faced a similar issue back in 2020 while using OnePlus 7T and hathway broadband(bangalore). Turns out it is the ISP, YT used to work perfectly fine on other ISPs and even mobile data(Airtel 4G).
You can try changing DNS to cloudflare or Cisco and see if it helps.
Issue is only with the BSNL fiber, mobile data works fine, did everything that I could with the app like clearing data, updating the app, clearing cache..it works fine on browser.
a routing issue likely. you could try changing dns (encrypted dns in android) try different servers as each might give different responses for youtube domains.
