Zaheer Khan to announce retirement today - The Times of India

Zaheer Khan is set to announce his retirement from international cricket today, Indian Premier League chairman Rajeev Shukla tweeted on Thursday.

The left-arm medium-pacer has been on the sidelines on account of drop in form and persistent injuries, having last played for India in February 2014 against New Zealand in Wellington.

Injuries really forced his to retire or he could have been legend like Kapil...

I felt bad for Laxman untill he joined the commentary team. He has the worst possible voice /accent an Indian could have.

But he attacked way too much even against better batsmen.

One 4 an over made him defensive and his strike rate started reducing.

I pride Indian bowlers the most. They are almost always over-shadowed by the superstar Indian batsmen and never get their due.

Sad to see Zak fade away. Hopefully he has a wonderful 2nd innings.
