Zenega 1004S : Remote hang while pressing volume button

Dear friends,

I have Zenega 1004S Set box. After software upgrade ( 3months) my remote is hanging while increasing/decreasing volume.

I changed my remote - Still same issue
I took STB and Remote to Dish Care service center. I was told that it was software upgrade issue especially happening on particular Model. Even they had similar set box and they reproduced same issue.

Also they advised to check with Hardware support centrer (HCL) to cross verify. Even i called HCL support center for known issue. They also said it was software upgrade issue and nothing can be done until dishtv fix the same.

I called useless customer care. They behave like automated Voice response system. They still want to send technician for which i need to pay 400Rs for them.

I would like to know if anyone having the same problem?

Yes this is a common issue faced by all Zenega Cd 1004 iS. Its a known common issue. Even Dish TV has no fix for this issue.
