I am having problem with my ZXDSL 831AII modem which BSNL has provided me, I have configured the modem with PPOE (Always On) connection, But if the modem restarts/shutdown (Due to power fluctuation) twice or thrice then i have to connect my modem once again by entering the BSNL user name & password.Now my question/problem is that if i have configured the connection to always remain on then why after restating the modem i have to again give my BSNL user name & password in the modem configuration.Is there something wrong with my BSNL modem, Kindly help meI also have problem viewing websites, Whenever i connect to any website, most of the time that website crashes every 1-2 minutes. For that i have to keep refreshing the page

User shamvilAfter you have entered your username and password, click on "Save All" or equivalent icon. The modem should disconnect, reboot and then reconnect.That should make it permanent. Henceforth whenever you switch on the modem it will automatically connect.Also, remember to reconnect at 0205 and 0755 if using with night unlimited plans!
Well I am experincing similar concern with my ZTE modem ZXDSL 831AII the config does not save after the modem has been restarted.
Also I tried to upgrade the FIRMWARE for the modem,with the error message "
Firmware Update Failed
Unusually short file. No error
Failed to update FLASH chip.
This may be due to a corrupt FLASH filing system "
I think the issue is with the FLASH Chip.
