Airtel has this Rs 8 for 30 Mb 2G per day pack which would be sufficient enough IMO

Issue with 3G is that.. its so fast that MBs get gobbled up fast!!

No sooner u turn on 3G - few background apps consume 2-3 MB immediately in a flash!

Especially iPhone is crazy phone when it comes to data consumption!

With 2G - you can check ur e-mail / whatsapp (basically text only stuffs) and those background apps wud not consume more than 500-700kb.

No thanks.Vodafone gives me 2 GB for Rs 298 (1+1 GB) It works out well for me.

Airtel needs to try hard. It seems like they will introduce some fatichar plan and their PR machine will rave on about how customer focussed they are.

I believe Airtel is incapable of bringing out any revolutionary plan. If RJIO truly brings down data rate, Airtel and Voda will feel the heat.

Anything below 500 MB for unlimited validity pack is cash grab. Data is consumed like crazy on 3G and 4G network. As everyone said, one has to do literally nothing to consume 200-300 Mb per hour. The worst offender is iPhone. Due to Apple's forced policy of iCloud backup, it will backup 1-2 GB everyday to iCloud. Good god why? I bet it's the carriers who are in bed with Apple to make this setting default.
