How to use Reliance Jio on your Samsung Smartphone

Received another message stating that preview offer will be auto-refill accordingly. So i think until jio launch preview offer will keep extending.

I tried the same steps, but it doesn't work. Any workarounds ???

Don't bother if you will not manage to get hold of eligible Samsung phone to generate the offer code and after sim activation to activate the 3 month offer. So even if you get a code from your friend or shady ebay/olx friend, you would need the same phone with the same IMEI to activate the actual offer.

I am in a fix now. I used my OnePlus One to generate the code. Got the sim and when I got the televerification message, I inserted the JIO sim on my OnePlus One to televerify it. But there was no network (no signal bars). Tried number of times to manually select the network IND-JIO but it wouldn't register at all.
Used Moto G3 to televerify and got only 2 GB data plan. Tried with an old apk of My Jio app as well. Still no success. Any idea how to proceed ahead now to avail the unlimited offer.
 
So not even commercial launch and they are already throwing that "saar server is down which activates the SIM" shit crap on me without giving any OTA whatsoever. I am getting this from the store person who gave the SIM.
 
How are you guys still getting sims without Samsung phones? Every store I've been to has told me that they need the phone to verify the code with the app.

There are still some stores who do not check phones. There is one store here in Mumbai, the store manager is having some kind of target to give out sims. He clearly said to me that "Main tereko JIO sim deta. Bus offer code printout le aana. Make sure the code has never been used or else activation will fail. Sim pe 2 GB wala to offer milega par asli unlimited offer ke liye tujhe qualified Samsung phone hi chahiye"
So clearly there is no internal guidelines for store employees. But some store employees are being a bit cocky and taking precautions.
