Le 2 vs Redmi Note 3

I'm a Redmi Note 3 owner. So just wanna know how is this phone in comparison to Le 2. Design wise the Redmi features a full metal body while the Le 2 has metal unibody. Both have finger print sensors, IR Blaster, Full HD screen. I wanna know if the Le 2 is better than the Redmi Note 3 in any way. Ofcourse the MIUI is more popular than LeEco's OS. But still just wanna know the comparison. Is the Redmi Note 3 going to get marshmallow OS?

Redmi Note 3 will be getting MIUI 8 in the next few days... which is based on Marshmallow - August 24 I believe is the rollout date..

I just got a Redmi prime 3s and it had miui 7.5 which is based on marshmallow, miui 8 will not have marshmallow means that they have different forks for different phones, one running older version than the other? Sort of like what Apple likes to do?

In MI Community forum, an admin has confirmed that Redmi Note 3 WILL receive Marshmallow

Redmi 3S Prime will have Marshmallow,and Redmi Note 3 will receive Marshmallow but at a latter stage,not on Aug 23 rollout.
