just check your line speed. i think there are two values to check. one is attainable speed and another one defined speed.

300mbps would never be possible on vfiber. 100mbps is max for vfiber.

Went for the upgrade yesterday. My area line guy called, saying 300 mbps is not available, had to convince him that it is up on the website, he made a con call with his boss and got convinced that 300 Mbps is on offer.

It seems they have a new ONT and Modem combined device from Huawei, which has not been provided yet, which will kick in the speeds. Currently my Asus router shows the wan link at 1gbps but am not getting the speeds beyond 105 Mbps even though the plan has changed.

Let's see when they change the ONT device.

@kumararvind
haha It seems like you're telling exact same story of mine,The area line guy has no clue about that plan.I have already raised a complaint hopefully it will be resolved today.

They haven't updated the plan yesterday thats why i was getting 100 mbps only.The engineer came and updated the plan now i'm getting 300mbps on lan cable.
Their router is not good so i am getting 160-180mbps over wifi.

so nothing like line stats on ftth?
I think something like signal strength is checked while splicing fiber and installing ONT.
Not sure if it can be seen on ONT or not. Mine is shared ONT installed by ACT in service lane.
