I guess massive MIMO is not same as 4x4 MIMO. Massive MIMO has large number of transmitters and receivers in Tower like 64T64R which helps to reduce congestion in highly congested sites which also ensures everyone gets decent speed regardless of device. While 4x4 MIMO is hardware feature and your device specifically need to support with 4 antennas.

Finally Google has woken up from slumber and Activated 3CA on Pixel 2 devices on latest Android P beta. Good god I was about to dump this costly but good for nothing Pixel 2 phone and get myself OnePlus 6. Guess I will stay with Pixel 2 for the time being.

OMG i was waiting for this a long time. Thanks for letting us know. Now i just wish they enable Video over LTE(ViLTE) for Pixel 2 as well.

Great App Net Monster!
On my Moto Z Play which recently received Oreo update, it was displaying LTE+. But in Net Monster App for Jio network it displays frequency on current network which changes from 800/1800/2300. Sometimes 2CC is also displayed. But never I observed all 3 frequencies at same time. Does it mean that 3CC is not supported on my phone?

• 3CA is available on Snapdragon SD821, SD835, SD845, Kirin 970, Exynos 8895 Octa and Exynos 9810 Octa devices.
• There must be compatible antenna arrangement inside the phone
• The manufacturer must be aware of 3CA configuration and should have added support for Jio's 3CA implementation.

When all the above conditions are met, you will get 3CA on your phone.
