@Dhiraj - Thanks for that info.
you can infact download the JioHome app even without STB and read through the faq section. All major media files are supported
I did read the FAQ and I can see the usual formats. I was curious if it supports HEVC codec files. It would be helpful if you could check if it supports HEVC/x265 files.

I can still do free recharge 40 gb voucher but paid plans also show in the list. So, it wont be long before preview ends. If 199 as a base plan is true I will take that. Dont need Stb and OTT as I have most apps in my tv and subscriptions for them. All I need is lots of data for 4k and 1080p streaming.

The MyJio app has now started showing me in how many days will my BB recharge expire (similar to how it shows for Jio 4G connections). I'm still on free preview offer.

I applied for disconnection on 14th around 12 pm nothing has happened yet I was supposed to get a call from them in 24 hours but I received no such call. My connection is still working.

The upload speeds are simply pathetic on paid plans. On a 250mbpls plan you don’t get more than 22mbps if upload speeds. Moreover, you need to have multiple devices to harness the 250mbps speed. 100mbps plan is the best bet. Wish I had better service providers. Though I am yet to migrate on a paid plan, there isn’t much excitement left in lieu of lack of live channels and pathetic upload speeds.

Are you talking about the pop up which comes at the top? (10 days left, etc)
Can't you recharge with a 100 GB plan?

Don't understand why the world doesn't adopt this (x265) codec throughout everything.. Like yt or some other streaming services. Its far better technology and saves lot of space 🤔.
