just got my connection installed.... so i can only update this on 21Jan2020

By update you mean next recharge right ? What plan have you opted for ?

So I got a call from Jio for STB. The guy said I have to recharge before he can send someone for STB installation. I said I'm already on Diamond plan. He paused for a bit, and said "Sir, aapko pehle recharge karana padega". This went on for a while, I realized the guy was a fucking moron, disconnected.
Jio CC is a piece of shit.

I would love to listen to those conversations. Sry man. Try contacting other Jio CC or your local Jio guy.

Lol true. Maybe he was not anticipating that answer. He must be assigned the task of forcing people to recharge first. So someone who has already recharged (and that too, the diamond plan) went over his head.

silver.... still havent see the video quality of the OTT cause im at work now but my brother at home said the quality is pretty bad...... anyone confirm this?

@ponnitheunreal - Just checking some of the content, in my case it's Avengers Endgame and quality is crisp, no pixelations as well.

Don't know any local guy. The guy who sold the connection has left long back (been using for 20 months now)

Yeah, but at least he should have used some common sense. Not every Tier 1 has to be brain dead, eh ? Very stupid. I was literally at a loss of words.

Although the paid plans have appeared for me, the 100 GB queued up plan has not been removed from my list like other users. Don't know why...

The 40GB Data Vouchers are gone for me under recharge. I just see the 100GB Preview Recharge Plans and those ISD Packs.

Can users on higher speed plans like 250 or 500Mbps do speed tests to international destinations as well as places far away in India? I am now seeing very low speeds. Speeds to London never cross 9Mbps and US is barely 5. Singapore and far away Indian cities barely touch 15Mbps.I wonder if Jio is capping speeds.
