Got the sms from jio about shifting to paid plans. Can I shift to a paid plan but not opt for the stb?
Just do a recharge of 199 and you should be good
Don't you need to do a first recharge before you can activate this 199 plan?
@Lobogris it has been confirmed that it is a stand alone plan and technically is a first recharge but for now seems like Jio isn't activating it because of the STB offer. If Jio activates it upfront, the server would automatically entitle the customer for the STB that Jio specifically doesn't wants it to happen. For someone who doesn't want the STB, recharge with 699 and 199 plan and moving forward just keep on recharging with the 199 plan till the time it's there.
Didn't work like that for me. A commercial plan must be recharged first.
The validity is visible on the web. In the app it is not visible...just a dash.

Yes, I can see it on the website. Some have the validity of Jan 13 while a few have Jan 19th. There are some 100Gb vouchers queued up with activate link. I am not sure if I should activate them or not. In any case they will just remove all these packs whenever they want to charge.
