@abhishjha Full speeds. I am on 500mbps plan, and a speedtest shows about 480 mbps (sane for FAST.COM).
Do remember this is peering speed.
Your actual download speed can be quite less. I've posted in detail about my speed results, both via LAN and Wifi in this thread.
Long story short, downloads with multiple threads will be fast. Single ones will be slow.
Purely LAN downloads show a loss of 10% compared to quoted speed.
On wifi, if I'm using multiple threads to download (say 64 or higher), I got about 360 or so mbps.
Ofc, depends on your router placement etc.
LAN is the best way undoubtedly

Theoretically yes, if your LAN cable is CAT 6 or above. And TV is capable of handling those speeds.

I have connected my router to TV via ethernet and I get full speed around 96 Mbps on a 100 Mbps preview plan.

technically cat5e is more than enough for gig connection. since the distance is mostly less than 20-25feet the cat5e is more than enough. just my 2cent

Will anyone recharge the 1gbps plan just to experience it? I am actually thinking about it
nah... with great power comes great responsibility.... 1gig is addictive and worse than drugs. dont do it my friend.. :D JK it is overated, unless you have enough devices to utilise the speed it is pointless... eg: the max bandwidth for 4k would be 50mbps then again you have to pay 799 for it. and prime is worse and doesnt support 4k for most devices.... and if you say you have to game online then sorry to burst your bubble then it will not be good. your fellow team mate would yell " damn you lag like a beyatch" ... since Jio doesnt have direct peering outside india. so all in all downloading p0000rn at 1gig will be the only pleasure you will get... ;)

Activate option in queued plans showing again.

I have around 30 vouchers of 40 gb and just checked on website. Validity shows all expiring on 25 dec. So, does that means I will have to opt for paid plan or I can do more recharge of free vouchers after that? Jio app still shows option for free 40 gb recharge.
