Please share pics of your bsnl ftth local infrastructure of fiber cables from outside poles to complete inside home installtion and ONT. How is the bsnl infrastructure's workmanship quality compared to JioFiber and other private ftth players?

Also share your ONT pics with model number.

Also share your advance payments and first bill charges like security deposits, modem/ONT charges & rental charges (if any), plans, installtion charges, any hidden charges.

Share your complete experience and issues. Do all discussions related to it.

My bsnl ftth installation was good. But that maybe depended on my LCO.

I paid him 2k. For installation and a basic Netlink ont n2801.

My first month bill was 2k. Subsequently its 1500. (1277 plan)

@SG_curiosity , my suggestion is to get the cheapest ONT. And then buy a good router. There's a thread on choosing routers which you may find helpful.

My LCO is using overhead cabling through electricity poles. Installation was good.

3K₹ was charged by him for a Netlink ONU

As I had some security deposit already for my previous ADSL connection, I didn't have to pay a security deposit for this connection in the first bill. I have opted for 1277 plan, so I'm paying around 1650₹/month because I have a copper landline number that I maintain.

In this 1+ year time, I haven't faced any fiber cuts. Now the connection is pretty stable

Guys, you are not following the OP's rules. Post pics also. GO outside and click pics of the wiring from the poles and holes and wherever your cable comes and goes.
 
Q1. Is it single band router or dual band router?

Q2. And how is the range and performance of the this ONT Router? For eg. If you placed router in entrance of house and you are in last room of house which is far away and in between there are 3 or 4 walls, then how is the range and Speed?

@varkey you can also share your review here when you have time. It will help every new person who want to know more about bsnl ftth. I was also trying to find thread for bsnl ftth complete review with pics. That why i make this thread so everybody who have bsnl FTTH connection either directly by BSNL or by lco, can share his review, opinion and other information.
