For me upload speed is important as well. I have started using cloud storage for the past few years and have made it my main option thinking we were now in an era of fast and nearly unlimited Internet.

WhatsApp back up, Google Drive, Dropbox, even uploading anything on YouTube needs Upload Speeds.

If you are an iPhone users, you must be quite known to iCloud Back up.

If you are a Google Photos user, you must be knowing you can backup unlimited photos to Google without worrying about your device storage.

It is not that you don't have need of upload speed. It is rather you don't even know what are the optimal uses of Upload Speeds.

Get higher upload speeds and then you will understand how good experience Upload speeds offers.

Cloud Backup is awesome!

I got my STB today. They called me 5 times today and pleaded until I gave in. I have no use for it as I have a new 4k smart TV with same apps and I hardly watch TV channels. I got the smaller STB without cable port.
I recharged with the silver plan. It got activated in 2 hours. I also was able to use the bonus data voucher and it now shows in the plans section. So overall no issues except the upload speed cap. 400 Gb data should be enough for the month as a start. The technician insisted that 199 plan can't be used alone but no one in Jio knows anything for certain.

Doesn't matter when you redeem it. It's only valid for the current cycle, and only gets activated automatically when the base plan FUP expires.
I've already activated my extra 250 gb voucher. It just knows under upcoming plans.
If I don't redeem the additional voucher for the current plan, will it expire or can I use it for the next month?

It is only valid during the current plan. It will expire if you don't use it. For example if you redeem it 20 days after you recharged your plan, then it will be valid for only the remaining 10 days of your existing plan. If you don't redeem it for full 30 days, it will expire.
