Carrier Aggregation on Airtel 4G LTE

In Kolkata, Vodafone has the most amount of spectrum, but they've still kept 3G running, which is totally a wastage of 2100Mhz. Idk whose idea it was to deploy 5Mhz in LTE and keep the rest for 3G. Band 8 LTE is nowhere to be seen as well and their VoLTE is still rather buggy.

Airtel also needs more spectrum. They've gotten 30Mhz band 40, 5Mhz band 3 and 3Mhz band 8 deployed, which is doing fine now, but with the number of people switching over, it'll soon come down to a crawl.

Jio is the absolute worst. The situation is so bad that sometimes voice starts breaking and calls don't go through. Their coverage is also pretty bad inside hospitals and malls, even with 850Mhz. Dunno what they're playing at.

VIL is improving their network in Kerala before i used to get 8-15 mbps on Band 3 20mhz and now they added band 8 5mhz and started Aggregating them now the speeds have been improved

@spsp92 Yeah.. Jio and Airtel are shit in Mumbai. During peak times Jio atleast works for Normal browsing but in Airtel even calls on VoLTE isn't getting connected.

Yeah same here Airtel is the worst upload speeds are so shit that I can't even use WhatsApp at peak hours

Does anyone know why the govt is keeping high reserve price for the Band 700mhz. Why that band is considered as premium as compared to many other 4g bands? Does 700 mhz band has any specific advantages over other bands like in the form of high coverage/bandwidth etc?
