@Lobogris My issue is not getting beyond 350 mbps over wi-fi. All the correct conditions are there - a 4*4 MIMO R7800 (one of the best rated routers of all time), multiple 2*2 MIMO devices (Acer Aspire VX 591G, Pixel 2 XL, iPad Pro), heck, even threw in Netgear A7000 (4*4 MIMO) to increase speed, but on my laptop, phone and iPad, I NEVER get more than 300 mbps (checked with 1:1 connection and other devices switched off from network). With A7000 and 1.3 Gbps link rate, 380 is the max, 350 is more consistent.

All testing done with about 6-8 feet from router, line of sight maintained.

I just don't understand why ? 😔

@varkey Why does the time zone matter ? It's a video from TP-Link MLY, and they are checking from servers in their region. IST/GMT is immaterial. It's not as if the video is taking time zone from my laptop and feeding it in. :p

You are yourself proving my point. Despite having one of the best routers and top notch client equipment, you are not able to go beyond 380Mbps. That is exactly what I stated.
Don't go by tests conducted in laboratory conditions. In real life, using current equipment, it is hard to get beyond 500 to 700Mbps. Those are best case scenarios. Often it is closer to 350Mbps. There are so many possible bottlenecks.
