Change of Jio ONT box . Need Advice

White modem has 2 usb ports and dual band.
I think blue has single usb port.

No, the Blue dual band one has 2 USB ports as well.

Let me clear your doubts.
There are 3 types of ONTs:
1. White Dual Band - JCO500 (Security deposit :₹4500)
2. Blue Dual Band - JCO4032 (Security deposit :₹2500)
3. Black Single Band - JCO110 (Security deposit:₹2500)
Blue dual band router is only provided to customers with Gold plan and above.

Do external routers work well with Jio?

Nearly the same speed. Expect a 3-5% loss.

Absolutely. I use an Asus router and I get 470-480Mbps vs the 330Mbps I used to get on Jio router on the 5Ghz band.

Which dual band router should be best in terms of coverage and speeds, TP-Link A6 archer or Asus ac750.

@crymetyme I would suggest Archer A6/C6, it supports higher speeds on 5GHz band 867Mbps vs 433Mbps. A6 has 128MB ram but AC750 has only 64MB

The speed doesn’t matter much as i will be taking 250mbps gold plan just want to be on the safer side coverage wise

@crymetyme It is mentioned on the TP-Link site that A6/C6 has 4 external antennas and one internal antenna. So I guess it should have more coverage than AC750.
