Oracle Cloud's Lifetime free services (2 VPS + more)

It has actually been quite a while since oracle launched their cloud based services.
The nice thing is their always free services, which as the name suggests are services they offer for free for lifetime, a credit card however is required for verification (no automatic deduction unless manually upgraded to paid account)

Here is what you get
2 of 1C/2T AMD epyc VPS instance with 50 GB storage and 1 GB RAM per VM.

2 of Autonomous data warehouse with 1C/2T and 20 GB storage per VM.

10 TB of outbound data transfer per month (incoming unlimited)

1 load balancer with 10 Mbps bandwidth

It's not for heavy tasks but it's great for basic things like mail server, ghost/WordPress blogs etc.

Only linux based distributions are eligible for always free, windows is asking for too much as it's not something they own

And yes, it's available in all regions throughout the world but is fixed, i.e. if you choose Mumbai as your home, you will only have always free services available in Mumbai so choose wisely.

In india, 2 regions are available, Mumbai and Hyderabad

Well Mumbai and Hyderabad currently has ALL always free services.

Btw I did not know about Oracle cloud and VM being free!! Thanks for informing. If all goes well then you just saved my 60$ per year!

My Amazon 1 year free is about to expire in a month. Sufficient time to migrate and eliminate Amazon!

@amish Apart from AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Atlantic.net all of them offer 1 year free VPS/VM. That's 4 more years of free services. lol
