Why is there no NDTV on Jio Fibre TV?

Hey Guys, stopped recharging my Airtel DTH and the first thing I notice is there is no NDTV on Ji Fibre TV
Any idea why is that?

Yes. There are a couple of channels missing on JioFiber. You must understand that JioFiber is not a complete replacement to cable/DTH. It just combines all the channels from different OTT apps and provides those. It does not provide any cable/DTH service like Airtel does on its Xstream box. So channels which are not available on any OTT platform cannot be viewed on JioFiber.

NDTV and most other news channels are available for free on youtube. That's a better experience than JioTV+ app, works faster with almost zero load time.

Very inconvenient to watch different channels opening different apps. Wish Jio could integrate all the channels under Jio tv+

It is not so difficult to notice why most of the channels perceived to be favorable to the Central Govt finds place in Jio fiber.
Even unheard channels which were launched only a year or two ago finds a place here but channels which has credibility does not find a place here.... IMO, Airtel Xstream has better selection of channels....
Come election time again, one channel will become live quietly - NAMO tv......
This channel will be added without our consent on all DTH providers, with users having no option to remove this channel from their subscription....

NDTV has app on Amazon FireTV, and that has Live TV broadcast as well.

This channel will be added without our consent on all DTH providers, with users having no option to remove this channel from their subscription direct violation of TRAI CAS guidelines, with TRAI turning a complete blind eye.

And in complete violation of TRAI's own CAS guielines, which require the customer to actively opt for a channel, with TRAI turning a complete blind eye. Just as Republic and R-Bharat is thrust down the throat of every DTH and Cable subscriber now.

It is a known fact that Jio is very close to the government and would do everything to ensure that the government is not shown in poor light. Besides, it is the only channel which showed the actual news instead of Rhea and crap all the time. So it was obvious that it would have pulled the plug on Ndtv.
