Excitel has announced a range of stay-at-home data broadband plans. These plans are focussed for work from home, studying or gaming purposes. All the stay-at-home data broadband plans introduced have three months validity.
saw that article few days ago and it looks like pure bullshit. they are very likely talking about monthly costing for the three month plan. the article seems to portray that they are offering 3 months for cheaper than what they charge for a month.
check website its 565 per month for 3 month recharge.
Twist of language and they have done it before.
Excitel will gain sense like Act did after this lockdown honeymoon period gets over.
They have lost most of the advantages in last 6 months but too arrogant to admit plus overselling and not ready to invest further, no checks for lco and final nail in coffin is their irky lco attitude.
Matter of time people will see they can download more via 50mbps of airtel than 100-300mbps excitel. Missing voice service, ipv6, slow torrent speeds etc etc.
Plans wise excitel is decent. Not too costlier than other local isps/lco.
They need to improve transit capacity to non peered servers along with ever due issue of lco reliability.
All, Can you please advise.. Excitel Fiber installation will be done tomorrow .. Should i make the plan payment today or tomorrow? As per sales guys he is saying if you do payment today then plan will be activated tomorrow .. & if you make payment tomorrow then it will be activated by evening or max by night.. by the way it's a new connection..
