Hi!

I have a Nokia ONT which has one port with bridge mode enabled. I am using a Asus RT-AC58U for the bridge connection. While this setup is working fine, I am experiencing lack of advertised speed on the bridged device. Is anyone else facing a similar issue?

Edit: The asus device is running OpenWRT 21.02

What speed are you expecting? Assuming you are getting that on Airtel router, if so check for proper cable, for more than 100mbps use cat 5e / 6 cable.

Just yesterday evening I reverted back to stock TP-Link firmware from OpenWRT because of bandwidth limitation on 5Ghz. Do an iperf3 test on openWRT you will notice a bottleneck. I was getting 130-40 Mbps on OpenWRT. On stock, it is always above 290Mbps. It is a known issue on openWRT.

Enable flow offloading under firewall on OpenWrt.
