Hi all,

Since morning I haven't been able to use my mobile effectively as there is no wifi and I'm unable to tell is a BSNL issue, a modem issue or a phone issue because the issue could be anywhere in-between. I have an app. called DevInfo. that gives some good quality information. In it, it says for wifi not connected, but that doesn't tell me if it's the phone that has the issue or the modem :(

How, I tried pushing it off and then on, but nothing changes. And sadly, I don't have access to the modem's interface to see what the settings there have been done :(

@Aashish.007 Or is there anything else you want me to do, be as precise as you can, so I can follow what you mean. I have 3-4 wifi networks around but the phone doesn't even detect one of them, although it's a new phone.

Yes I am sorry for being so concise, exactly what starman said you should reset network settings in the phone.
Also are you not able to connect to the wifi or you can connect but have no internet?

I tried that quite a few times already. I went through Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi, there is a toggle switch. You can switch it on or off, but doing either does nothing.
