Any review for Tikona broadband in lucknow ?

Hello Everyone,

I'm using Airtel broadband currently .I have got to know that they have increased their bill by 100 rupees from next bill cycle so I will be paying around 1300 .Initially the connectivity with Airtel was good .but I have found that their speed fluctuates .I'm using 2mbps . many times I found that it take significant time in opening a website showing host not found and bla bla .when I doing a broadband speed check I got an ad of Tikona broadband offering very appealing offers with cheap price tags like in just 900 I'll get 4 Mbps speed .so I want to ask that is there somebody from lucknow who is using tikona broadband ,can you please give me some reviews regarding their service .is there any kind of downtime ?and what is the speed after FUP ,I mean do they maintain the suggested 512 Kbps after that .I live in Indiranagar .please respond me soon .thank you !

Last year u were on BSNL. Now on Airtel . Did u try Reliance? Their poster were all over Bhootnath Market a month ago.Unlimited plan starting @ Rs. 599 or something.

Yeah I was on BSNL last year and i didn't try Reliance due to negative reviews from it's customers,Now using Airtel .No doubt the connectivity of Airtel is far better than BSNL ,Airtel service is also really good in attending customer problem (at-least in my case I found it really appealing ,I made complaint and it got sorted out within few hours ) but I found Airtel has some issues with its ISP because It happens that your site don't open .I feel on that count BSNL was better .now as Airtel is increasing the prices which I feel are not justifiable .If you go on Airtel website and check the plans for Surat city of Gujarat then you will see Airtel has two plans for 999 (this would be 1099 as par as their new increased bill plan) .the one plan has 2 Mbps with 15 GB fup cap and "FREE UNLIMITED LOCAL " and other plan with same 999 having 2Mbps with 30 GB fup cap with no free local .what I get from Airtel in Lucknow is 999 with 2Mbps with just 11 GB cap and no free local .now the point as a rule no Private company gives facility to it's customers being in loss .so If Airtel can make profit even with such plans at Surat then why Airtel giving so less in Lucknow for the same price .now when I found so lucrative offers from Tikona then why shouldn't i go for it but again you need to have some positive reviews before switching to another service .isn't it ?

ask them to give u a demo at ur place. i am using tikona broadband from the last two years and i did,nt face any major problem. but make sure that the tower is not far from ur home

thanks for your response but if you don't mind then can you tell me in which locality you are using Tikona service ... It would be great if you belong to Indiranagar,Lucknow as I wanted someone from my locality .one more thing what is your actual download speed you get and what about upload as well as connectivity ? thanks !

can you please share your experience with Tikona in detail. i am planning to take their 4 mbps plan but not sure if i should go ahead seeing reviews on other sites. can you let us know what is your BB plan and why they failed to provide good service to you.
