Aquaguard, I am thinking of buying, any ideas about its service?

Well If you like aquaguard then I suppose you can go for it.

Aquaguard is one of the oldest in this profession, depends where you reside and how there is their network, if you live in Metro city then I think service will be good

Hello,

I'm in need of a new water purifier. Does anyone have an opinion on Neo RO Purifiers (neoropurifiers.com)? They have a 12-stage (RO+UV+Mineral) model available; not sure about the price but's probably less than 10k. Thanks.

Vinay.

try to get the model with them which is 250- stage purifying model :swear:

on a serious note its not even necessary to have more than general 6 stage filtration process , even UV stage is not needed if i am correct , only a mineral catridge after RO membrane should be sufficient ................they want your extra money for 0 extra benefit in my opinion , so get nomal model only wih minral cartridge from whirlpool , minerella 90 , if you get it for 10 k or below on snapdeal

I agree about the number of stages. I don't really need the UV stage and the mineral cartridge is probably counted as 4-5 stages so its probably more like a 7-stage filter. But the main reason for asking about this purfier is that the purifier seems to be built up of OEM parts which are easily available on ebay, Amazon etc. so I can service it myself and save a considerable amount further down the line. I'm not so sure if the purifiers from well-known brands such as whirlpool, HUL etc. would be easy to service on my own.

You can change the filters of any RO with standard spares, still I find the neo appealing because of easy service ability. The big guys just charge you for their brand names.

UV filter is required if you are concerned about bacteria in the water which leads to issues like stomach upsets etc. RO is a sediment filter and does not efficiently filters bacteria, mineral cartridge adds necessary healthy minerals since RO strips the water of all minerals.
