I am not sure about custom made container, have seen it someone having done it successfully and practically?

Bhoj, you have become expert DIY , it seems :D

Hey guys I have a purit RO water purifier. The thing is that It contains a 10L storage tank. So, he prescribed me a liquid which is Rs180 to clean the tank. So, might I know that type of liquid is it or can we get it outside for less cheaper than that?

Without knowing anything about the purit model, I would be suspicious of any such 'special' liquid. You could probably do just as well with warm water and dishwashing soap, or you could try a solution of vinegar and water, or even baking soda and water. Just google for tips on cleaning plastic water bottles.

ok, Time to replace my Aquaguard Reviva RO systems's Filters and Membrane.

TDS Count is not 70 on normal filtered water and might be less in chilled water.

I need to buy Membrane, Udayan, do you have any specific membrane ?

Service guy quoted Rs.4200/- if going for AMC
OR
Rs.3000 for filter + membrane replacements.

can someone tell which membrane they are using and whats the total cost for this DIY replacement.

someone posted a spam post here earlier but it reminded me that I left the topic without full details.

so water quality on my Aquaguard was getting worst, checked up eBay india and called up one of seller "VLGroup" from Jaipur
he was kind enough to spend few minutes with me explaining things, I placed order for 3 filters and they came fast.
Then ordered a membrane as I wanted to check if I really need a new membrane, so ordered "Vontron" membrane from same seller.

Total cost for filters + membrane + membrane housing + FR+ pipe was
440+ 700+ 240+200 = Rs.1580/-

replaced everything mentioned above and my R.O. Water is performing fine.
I get TDS count of around 20-24 on normal water temp. and 13 when same water is chilled.

In addition to above I added a spun filter and its housing to minimize the membrane damaging dust/sand/whatever to reach the membrane which costed another Rs.250/- bought from kevankumar from rajkot thru eBay India.

While I've done video on everything, currently only pre-filter video was edited and published.
Membrane and filter video might be ready in coming week.

so what I wanted to tell you guys is Rs.1580 is the total cost of replacement of filters + membrane and anyone with D.I.Y. itch can
do it on own.

its 75 GDP (Gallons Per Day)

For a small sized family its more than enough.

And service video is now available.

Hello guys I am having Pureit Marvella RO from past 1 year.
Now there is an indication by the purifier to change my germ kit 1(it is blinking red light).
So, for this I changed carbon filters and sediment filter. The problem arises here, the red light indication for changing germkit 1 is still showing. And I think we need to reset the timer. For that is there any way to do.
Please help me on this.
And I am sorry not able to come much on IBF due to some issue with my ISP on this site.
Regards
