Thoroughly impressed with the movie. Yeah, the visual treat was not as good as LOTR etc, but then it would be unfair to compare this with it.
I have seen Lord of the rings but this movie Bahubali i have Enjoyed more as compared to the Lord of the rings. Btw you are very wrong on the acting part. In this movie not only the acting but the storyline is the best so far in the history of Indian Cinema . Even our Bollywood is not able to make a move like this. This is the first Indian movie which has come in the top 10 movies is the US chart's.

No idea abt actor / acting / dialogue.
But I must say CGI was awesome. Looked like hollywood movie.
And yes some CGI scenes did look like movie 300.

imdb ratings for newly released movies is generally positive in nature. it goes down with time as more audience watches the movies. initially, you only expect fans to rate the movies. and south indian fans are quite loyal in nature to their superheroes. i am amazed that rajni movies are not populating the top 100 charts there.
So far the best movie ever made in Indian cinema. Better then our Bollywood movie's. Just watch the movie. I am sure you will like it.
Really. What is the storyline? It's a one liner... An evil brother trying to capture Kingdom and kill the decent brothers family in d process. What a great storyline and never been seen in Indian cinema before. And I don't even want to get into how they copied the snow sliding scene exactly from Vin diesel's XXX.
Indian cinema has tons of far better movies. Yes, if you talk about Cgi that I will agree is remarkable and probably the best so far in our cinema.
To each his own. You liked it, I didn't. For me it's still highly overrated. Happens all d time.
