BSNL Broadband's new revolutionary (lol) broadband plans with minimum 2mbps speeds (lol)

being owned by government does not automatically improve your wiring or equipment quality. it also does not give you free access to international bandwidth pipelines. and of course, it also does not improve the quality of service provided by your employees.

In America, high speed internet means at least 25 Mbps which is federal guideline. In remote areas of rural America they still easily get 2 - 10 Mbps speed.

In rural India, we don't have any internet. People ask "yeh internet kis chidiya ka naam hai:.

I have a friend in UK living is rural area. He complains about slow internet speed. He receives 8 Mbps which sounds like very good for India.

large parts of america still connects to internet through dialup because they are living in countrysides with no major isp serving their areas. another large part of america has only one or at best two options because of area division by rival companies. so consumers end up with pretty expensive services which are nowhere near the top of the class compared to the remain parts of america which has good options to connect to the internet. america is not exactly leading the chart of countries with incredible internet speeds. yet, it is home to every major tech company on this planet. india is doing fine wrt e commerce because majority of the consumers are accessing the internet on their mobile devices. and this is just going to expand in the future. you do not need 100mbps connections to shop online or to even access basic internet services. and they have pretty solid options on their portable devices. much better than wired connections in most parts of the country.
True indeed but which inevitably implies that most part of India is truely missing the true entertainment that internet has to offer.Whether its online gaming or streaming HD videos through cable.Watching a HD video on phone uses a large amount of data that drains the limit pretty quickly instead of that a no FUP broadband(4-8 MBPS) is much more viable. As we all know, apart from using social networking, online shopping;most normal customers don't even care about high speeds.

While in America even a normal person uses Netflix or owns a console to use the High speeds to their full extent.

so your justification to get fast unlimited internet speed is to watch streaming video content in hd quality? good luck justifying that to the government.

Whose responsibilty is to improve the wirings?

Whose responsibility is to increase the standard of living of the people of a country?

Who is charging taxes?

There is only one awnser- The government. The service ought to be better.

too bad we selected a government which is more focused on cleansing the cultural pollution in this country.

Most people complain about lack of water and food. High speed internet to download movies and stuff comes last in list for most people.
high speed Internet doesn't necessarily means that people would use it to download movies and stuff.. It wrong notion.. Higher speed also means that many people can browse Simultaneously at the same time.. Without lagging..
