I m also having the same problem of dropping connectivity with MTNL 450TC1 modem cum router with all four iPhone in my family. Still looking for solution..

Only solution is to get a compatible router. No other solution.

But first upgrade to iOS 9.1 and check.

I have already upgraded to 9.0.2 but still same problem.

If u dont want to buy new compatible router then only solution is to continuously ping iPhone IPs.

This solution worked for me. But then I got tired of pinging everytime and bought Netgear router and issue was resolved.

9.1 bhai, update to 9.1

It got released after 9.0.2.

As I said - its not going to work unless you change your router to a compatible one!
