If you don't recharge regularly and refuse to to return the device thus bypassing early return charges will they actually do something for just 1500 rupees?

What? Does above point no. 6 mean that you have to return it between 36-39 months.

Else your money is gone and they can still steal the phone!

What if I want to continue with JIO after 39 months? I will have to buy own phone?

Exactly read point 7.. it says if u dont return it.. they can take it back forfeiting 1500Rs that u paid.

India needs consumer laws.. these companies put clause unilaterally and securing their own rights (which they themselves decide)

If they decide to take it before 12 months, not only we have to forfeit 1500 rupees but also pay tax on 1500 rupees.
They also trolled people who had trust in Jio and pre booked it without knowing when they will get the mobile and any terms and conditions.

This phone is specifically targeting lower income groups who are employed in a different state and also landline users.

Why pay Bsnl 150 per month line rental + call charges when you can pay only 150 and get unlimited calls.
