Suggestion for Gigabit router for BSNL FTTH

Alright. Any other brands worth mentioning at this price range?

@vignesh_venkatesan

Regarding the C6 Router, do I need to just connect the LAN cable between the ONT and the router and it will work straight away or do I have to change any settings in the router for the internet to work?

If your ONT is in bridge mode, you'd need to configure the PPPoE connection parameters on the new device. Depending on whether Mac binding is enabled for you, might need to clone the MAC address of the old router's WAN interface to the new device.

@MadAxe Bro... What you talking about? 🤣

This router is a suitable choice for:

  • People who have a low budget
  • Users who are not interested in security

Have you personally tried this archer c6 router? Is yes than how it's range and speed (specially on 2.4Ghz) ?
2.4Ghz Wifi performance and range is bit low compared to the standalone 2.4Ghz AP but 5 ghz perfomance and range is quite good.
Even in the 2.4Ghz band If ur okay with 72mbps phy speed then it's great but expecting anything above it if not in the same room then you'll be disappointed.
