he was pming multiple members asking them to join his telegram group. i have no desire to read personal messages. but i might now open the section once in a while to check for similar activity. i really don't mind people conversing on telegram or whatsapp or any other third party app for solving their issues. but i do mind people with competing platform using personal conversations platform on this board to message members of this board to join that platform. as you can see here i really don't need to open individual messages to see what's going on. one quick look is good enough to highlight something weird is going on. hope this helps.

if any member is uncomfortable with me having the option of reading existing messages, please feel free to copy them to somewhere private and delete those conversations.

I should also add here that some folks here have a private telegram group for Jio iirc. It was also shared around this board. I really don't mind people creating a private group to chat with each other. But what he did is quite unacceptable.

This is a forum, it's meant for 'discussions', but if people are directing members to other platforms, I personally think it's unacceptable.

What I found weird is that those admins are following up with people who are leaving their groups.

I mean, koi tumhara group chodhe, tumhe bura laga, but when you're asking members to take their discussions away from this forum, wo sahi hai. :p

How're you guys spending your weekends nowadays? Considering we're in the midst of a pandemic.

Got hold of the novel called " The girl who goes for eye to eye." It is part of Millennium series. An interesting read.

There are. 5+1 the last one seemed to be launched recently. The first three were Damm amazing, the later ones are good, but lack that sheen from Larsson. The new author did try his best, it's a good read nevertheless.

If we're driving short distances, does it lead to low fuel economy (it does I know)?

For instance, this was my today's run:

1. 9 KMs
2. 7.4 KMs
3. 10.9 KMs

There was a break of about an hour or two between each trip. AC was on for the most part.

I am getting somewhere between 9 kmpl and 11 kmpl (mostly 9) on petrol. I don't drive aggressively.
