1 Mbps = Rs 920 Railtel broadband

prices in some countries are cheaper but limited to borders, but india is getting high capacity US/UK networks, which ultimately has capacity to replace such international networks, japan/china they never can do it, their speeds are limited to bordersall indian speeds at this point have no boundaries,

If RailTel rolled out even by mistake in Mumbai,
MTNL Mumbai, Sify and Tata would have a run for their Money ~!!!!!

Lalooo Ji Kuch karo.
Cant stop the overcrowing in Mumbai trains, atleast give us cheap Broadband!!

The speeds provided for the prices asked seems enticing.

All comes down to execution. If these cables are underground upto the premises then you have a very viable competitor in the market, otherwise price is still great but uptime will be no different to nearly everyone else.

railtail is fast ..ther is a cyber cafe at NEw delhi railway station ..i surfed ther and checked the ip address on whatisipaddress.com which displayed RAiltail( something like this) as its providerThe speed was good but not very fast

^ contradicting yourself?first you said railtel is fast, then you said it is good and lastly you said its not fast. :P

may be not as fate as it should be, but faster than what usually is, still not faster than the fastest?

sure the prices and speed look enticing, but is it available in all parts of bangalore as many of bangaloreans are expecting?will call them today and clarify though. 2mbps plan is good. :)
