Wow...thats mind blowing...can't wait to see some feedback on the quality of the service...if they deliver the quality like Airtel/BSNL and not like Hathway/Tata then it can bring broadband revolution in the country....:yahoo:I have just sent an email asking them if they are providing this service in my area or not
dont you think their 256k plan is violating TRAI norms.TRAI said that 256k is broadband but they advertise it as 256k but with the content ratio 1:4.I remember that some airtl user complained to airtel about home 999 plan having content ratio 1:2 but it was advertised as a 256k plan and airtel had to remove the content ratio all together.Someone should tell them that they are violating trai norms
Hey i stay in banaglore & never heard of this ISP, amazing prices though...Does someone have thier phone numbers ?PPl around banagalore may consider moving to Whitefield for that prices !
The 1:4 part is bothering me though... if the speeds go down that way then we'll end up with a 900 rupee 256k connection :wall:
i don't think that should be the case pal - you're getting it all wrong, many isp's don't reveal their actual contention ratio because it sucks & people might go crazy looking at the pathetic condition they are in.
Railwire is proudly displaying their contention ration because it again is one of the best in indian markets. for example contention ratio of bsnl is 1:50 !
it cant be 1:2 even for airtel..many times the contention ration is confused with upload:download ratio. Even on the railtel website i think it is the upload is to download ratio that is mentioned..normally broadband connections have contention ratio's b/w 1:20 to 1:50..
