Was getting this speed for the past few days. Thought I was getting lucky. After reading this thread...well I'm still very Happy. Cheers to ACT Broadband.:thumbup:

Hey... Even I just applied for ACT BB... I subscribed for 3 months... I plan to upgrade my subscription to 12 months but I'm scared they may reduce the Speed or FUP...

You mean you want to pay in advance for 12 months ? Go ahead, nothing wrong for that. The prices are normally discounted if you pay in advance. And your FUP will remain monthly and not yearly. Your FUP will reset every month. Nothing to worry about.

The FUP will not be changed and infact you will get 25GB per month additional FUP & 2 months free usage of 13 &14 month.

Ohk... also @ACTian : I've only just (on last Saturday) applied for the Rs.1100/- pm plan for 3 months... If I upgrade to a 12month plan now, will the plan be upgraded with immediate effect. Btw, also one more thing, can't wait for the wire to be pulled PLEASE do the needful ASAP, extremely eager to try those speeds. :)@Everyone : I'm going to buy the Cisco Wi-Fi Modem from ACT, although, I'm waiting for suggestions coz I need one with a STRONG signal... Budget constraints exist : around Rs.1500/- to Rs.2500/-, any quick suggestions?

Listen to my Suggestion. Never buy a Router from the Company. Many Guys are suffering who bought some random router for 2000 From Beam.
The company Claims to give Lifetime warranty. but when it goes bad no one comes and Even Check it.
So you can buy a Router from outside. Preferably the one which i suggested Coz It's the killer available in Router Range.

Netgear and Linksys have the best wi-fi routers. I have a Netgear one myself and it works perfectly well.
