yesteray i was promised for installation and i didnt get it because the fellow who had to put the box went on a picnic according to them. and i m given the date of today for installation and activation till 4 o clock. lets see.

I got my ACT connection on the next day itself. I've had the connection for almost a month now. The speed and latency is really good. I was getting 10 Mbps down, 12 Mbps up until FUP. There was a connection downtime once for about 3 hours so I'm also getting a backup connection from BBNL tomorrow.Edited to add: I forgot to mention that there were 3 other customers in this building so they already had the switch installed on the terrace, which is probably why I got the connection so fast.

a fellow came fixed the box and said somebody else would come to activate the connection but nobody turned up till 4.30pm. i think tomorrow i will have to bunk again to get the connection. i already bunked once and again i will have to do it again. i will surely post my experience once i get the connection.

hey actian r u even there on the site reading this or not? i applied on 8 and today is 18 and no installation done. i left my work for 3 days now including today and its already 5 pm and nobody turned up. i cant understand why u give fake hopes to get the job done on a partiucular day and even if u r giving a word then why dont u give a particular time and ur technical team would turn up at that moment. whats wrong man? its like morning shows the day and i learnt a big lesson opting for act broadband.

what the hell is wrong with ur technical team. do they even know what they r doing and what they r saying? its been three days since the wire is pulled and the box is fit but no activation. when i call sales fellow he says spicing is left and he is waiting for the technical fellow and i cant help in anyways until technical person shows up and nobody turns up.i paid u for the full year in advance and this is the service u provide. morning shows the day boss. i think i made a misstake choosing ur connection. u yourself replied to my mail one week later. just put something in the head of techincal fellows of fraser town that people dont pay to look at the box and the wire they pull. its of no use without activation. guys if u going to aplying for act then be ready to make thousand of calls and waste lots of working days just to get the connection. its been 11 days now.

finally it got activated and running. the speed is as promised and good. sometimes it fluctuates but that can be ignored. once u have ur connection activated u r good to go.
i m on a 2mbps plan and this is the speedtest.
