But with the kind of infrastructure we have in this country, being an entrepreneur is really, really hard. Add to that archaic laws and our bribe culture, and I can see why most entrepreneurs are turned off by India.

Ya, that's going to be the biggest challenge for people like me and you.

my friend in singapore said that the ISPs are bound to keep a check on illegal material being traded on their network and they randomly sends warnings to the users involved in the process.there is also no competition in the market as there are two players who are providing services and prices are the same.

I dont care about P2P etc, let our ISPs Ban it but then when u cant even stream youtube vids or open webpages quickly its really frustrating. I thought considering so few users of BB in India, alot of Bandwidth must be unutilised, why the benefit is not pushed forward to customers is a dilemma. I was talking to a swedish friend of mine who said 100mbit is available in .se for 30$ i.e Rs. 1500 a month. Frankly waking up at 2am every nite is impossible everyday, even 2mbps UL would be a blessing.

The only good thing for Pirates in India is that: They are safe even if they download 100s of GBs of illegal softwares / movies / songs (or even porn). No one is gonna come after you! :P

you never know

the problem is that if you DO get caught, fair justice would be years away and you are going to suffer regardless of the crime.
